- Angie Welland Crosby -We had the incredible opportunity to attend
the Daegwallyeong Snow Festival in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
The festival, which has been running since 1993, takes place each year,
and we were lucky to experience the winter wonderland that the event is known for.
One of the highlights of the festival was the stunning exhibition of large snow sculptures.
These sculptures were not only impressive in size,
but they also creatively depicted various themes from local culture,
as well as international elements.One of the coolest experiences was navigating the snow maze,
where we all had to work together to find our way out.
We also spent some time in the indoor experience center,
where we could learn about local customs and enjoy interactive displays.The entire experience was unforgettable! The combination of cultural activities,
and the beautiful snowy landscapes created a magical atmosphere.
Daegwallyeong Snow Festival is a one-of-a-kind event that gave us memories to last a lifetime,
