"You are never too old,
to play with the snow"

We had the pleasure of attending the Taebaek Snow Festival in Taebaek, South Korea.
This annual event, typically held from late January to early February,
transforms the city into a winter wonderland, offering a variety of activities and attractions.

The festival's centerpiece is the exhibition of large snowand ice sculptures
crafted by artists from around the world.
These sculptures depict a range of themes, from cultural landmarks to imaginative characters,
creating a captivating visual experience.
As night falls, the sculptures are illuminated,
enhancing their beauty and providing a magical atmosphere.

For nature enthusiasts, the festival provides opportunities forhiking
through the snow-covered Taebaek Mountains.
We embarked on a scenic hike, taking in the breathtaking winter landscapes
and the serene beauty of the snow-laden trees.
The crisp mountain air and the tranquil environment made it a memorable experience.

We indulged in local delicacies such as Hotteok,
a sweet pancake filled with brown sugar, nuts, and cinnamon,
which was a delightful treat.
