INFORMATION REGARDING entering to KOREA after COVID

NOTE: 
Everyone entering Korea that does not have a valid visa ( For example D2,D4,E2,F4,F5,F6 etc)
MUST apply for a K-ETA at least 72 hours before departing to Korea.The K-ETA is an electronic tourist visa.

All individuals entering Korea are required to go through a special immigration process to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Immigration safety measures are subject to frequent changes, and therefore travelers are advised to check for updates from the Korea Disease Control Agency (KDCA).

As of October 1 2022 you do not need a PCR upon entering the country. However, for as easy entering of the country as possible please fill in the Q-code questionnaire beforehand. There you will register information regarding vaccine, symptoms etc. If you don’t do this before arrival you have to do it at the airport on paper.

Entery Process
Fill out the Health Questionnaire and Travel Record Declaration (Special Quarantine Report) on board the plane.
If you don’t do it, you have to do it at the airport.
-Does not apply to Q-code applicants who pre-registered their information.

Upon arrival at the airport, proceed to check temperature and submit documents at quarantine checkpoint
-Q-code applicants may use their pre-issued QR code instead of submitting printed documents.

Quarantine Procedure

COVID-19 Asymptomatic

Individuals who are fully vaccinated (either in Korea or overseas) and show no signs of symptoms (i.e., fever, cough, etc.) during the health screening process and on their Health Questionnaire may proceed to their destination after immigration check.

Symptomatic

Travelers with symptoms within three days after arrival can get tested for free at a COVID-19 test center or local health clinic.

If the test returns positive, travelers must quarantine at their place of residence, the hospital, or a care facility for seven days.
It is recommended to take the RAT with a self-testing kit or at a test center on the 6th or 7th day of quarantine.
